Airports around the world have been affected by CoronaVirus and have implemented new policies and procedures to help protect travelers.
New Methods
Consequently, some of the new cleaning methods include increased cleaning of seating, handrails, restrooms, people movers, and elevators during the day. Also, many airports now utilize nightly deep cleaning of entire terminals and installation of hand sanitizing stations.
Onsite airport CoronaVirus testing may be just around the corner. Therefore, in the future, we could see this in every major airport worldwide.
Face Covering
A face covering is required while flying, except for very young children or anyone with a condition that prevents them from wearing one. Local laws may also require the wearing of a face covering in the airport where your trip begins, where it ends, or where you connect.
Bring your face covering to use while traveling. Be sure your face covering is on before you board the plane and wear it during your flight. Your face covering may be removed to eat or drink, but you are asked to put it back on when you’re done.
