7 Tips For Beautiful Bridal Hair by Lauren Simpson of LA Page Makeup.
We asked Lauren Simpson from LA Page Makeup to give us some bridal hair tips. Here’s what she had to say:
Always Have A Trial
This helps you better envision your ideal wedding day bridal hair look and helps the stylist get to know you and your hair better.
Bring Your Hairpiece And Veil To The Trial
Bring your hairpiece and veil to the trial. You can learn how to put the veil in, how to take it out, and where you prefer the hairpiece to be with the style you’ve chosen.
Inspiration Pictures
Inspiration pictures are amazing to utilize at the trial, but keep in mind it might look a bit different if you have different color hair than in the photo.
Make Sure It Stays In Place
Make sure it stays in place. Gently shake your head a few times before leaving the trial to make sure everything stays put and feels comfortable.
Speak Up
Speak up if a bobby pin is annoying you! It’s worst when you have a sensitive head, so make sure to say something when a bobby pin doesn’t feel quite right. Actually, it’s easier to adjust them as we go than all at the end.
Pair Your Hairstyle With Your Gown
Pair your hairstyle with your gown. If you are wearing straps, you may want to consider an updo, whereas if you’re wearing a strapless dress, you may want to consider a down style. Additionally, keep in mind if there are any features of the gown you want to make sure aren’t hidden.
Be Open
Be open to hair extensions. Some styles require or just look more complete with the addition of hair extensions, so be open to them if you have your heart set on a style that requires them.
