Our families in Canada regularly invite us to weddings across the boarding. Sometimes they forget the extra postage. The Post Office will take no mercy and unceremonious stamp it “insufficient postage” and return it to you. The problem is, this may take 3-4 weeks before YOU realize the error and the invitations start rolling back to you. Almost ALL invitations need extra postage. Get one or two invitations weighed and sized at the post office before purchasing stamps. DON’T try to figure this out by yourself.

Something WILL Get Screwed Up With The Marriage License

You CANNOT go the day before to get your Marriage License. So, plan well in advance and physically GO to the Town Hall IN the Town that you plan to marry to find out what you need to do. Due to the CoronaVirus, there are many rules surrounding Marriage Licenses that may change. Get these instructions in writing, so that you can refer to them later.

Get It In Writing And Check Your Contract

Due to the CoronaVirus, we are recommending contacting your vendors and check on their rescheduling policies. If you haven’t booked, then get it in writing what the rescheduling policy will be if we have another pandemic… GOD FORBID!
