As a general rule, you should have one bartender for every 50 guests to minimize wait times. However, if you are offering a signature cocktail that cannot be pre-prepared or made in bulk, it may be wise to include an additional server specifically for that purpose.
DJ Sal: Sam, I know you and I have been to weddings where there’s only two bar staff when there’s over 150 guests. That’s absolutely crazy!! Make sure that your facility has adequate staff for your bar so your family and friends are not waiting [00:04:00] in line.

DJ Sam: On today’s Wedding Tip Wednesday. To ensure a seamless and engaging experience at your event, DJs typically arrange a playlist that includes four to five songs or more in advance. Consequently, some DJs can only accept music requests that have been specified in the wedding planning forms. If you choose to allow your guests to make requests, please keep in mind that due to time limitations, some DJs won’t be able to accommodate requests for “next play” or fulfill “every” song mentioned.
DJ Sal: Everyone always wants their song next, but sometimes that suggestion doesn’t fit into what’s being played at that time, and keep in mind, we could only play so many songs in the time allotted. And [00:05:00] that’s another wedding Tip from Sal and Sam.

DJ Sam: We are here to share essential tips that will help you craft the wedding of your dreams. So it’s Wedding Tip Wednesday time.
DJ Sal: Hands positioned right over left. This guidance is specifically for groomsmen. Prior to the wedding, have the groomsmen practice, standing still with their hands in front of them, with their right hand placed over the left. This is crucial ’cause you want to have a coordinated look, as the lack of uniformity can be quite noticeable.
DJ Sam: And that’s another wedding Tip from Sal and Sam.
Adam: Wedding Tip Wednesday is available on the Stress-Free Wedding Planning Facebook group page every Wednesday. Join the group for free.
DJ Sam: On today’s Wedding Tip Wednesday. Get The Digits. Store emergency contact numbers on your phone alongside your vendor contacts, but make sure to include the personal number of the individual vendor who’ll be present at your wedding rather than just their office [00:08:00] or daytime number.
Then, hand your phone to your wedding planner, a family member or a trusted friend who can address any issues that may come up without bothering you.

DJ Sal: Firstly, the couple have already carefully selected the people who are invited to speak at their wedding. Secondly, if they didn’t choose you, no matter how amazing you think your words of wisdom might be, you should keep them to yourself.
