3 Things NOT To Forget On Your Wedding Day.  

Good preparation usually ensures perfection. However, for all the preparation weddings take, there are some things that are usually forgotten.

I usually carry an extra pair of shoes, when loading my DJ equipment and stuff for an upcoming event.  Why?  You guessed right….. Years ago I forgot to bring a spare pair of shoes and the heel broke right off in the middle of the wedding while showing everyone how to do The Electric Slide!!

Here are 3 things NOT to forget on your wedding day:

Her Gift, His Gift

These are the gifts that the Bride gives to the Groom, and the Groom gives to the Bride… a little something to each other to remember the day by.

A perfect wedding gift for the Bride is usually jewelry. A simple necklace to complement the ring or a bracelet with the Bride and Grooms names engraved. A perfect wedding gift for the Groom is a pair of cufflinks to go with the outfit for their wedding day. Want to keep it simple? ….. write each other a note that says “romantic dinner for two”…. the rest is up to your imagination.

Do Not Forget the Shoes

Did I mention this before…… This is the one thing that is usually chosen at the last minute by the Groom.  To avoid forgetting these have ALL the Groomsmen dress together at the same location.  This way, everyone double checks each other.  Keep shoes, socks, cuff links, ties, shirts, and any rented outfits TOGETHER!!!  There’s less chance of something getting forgotten or lost.

For the Bride, we recommend selecting a second set of shoes to wear under the dress, specifically for dancing later in the evening.  We’ve seen some awesome sneakers that have been “bedazzled” to match that wedding dress!

FUN!

Yes…try to enjoy your day. Make it a priority to have FUN!!! Spend as much time on the dance floor having fun with your family and guests. It is our experience that everyone is looking to you to set the tone of the event – if you are out dancing – your guests will follow. This is YOUR party – make the most of it!!!!
