When To ….. A Guide For Planning Your Reception With ATMOSPHERE PRODUCTIONS.
Over the years we’ve seen A LOT when it comes to weddings and we want to pass on our expert advice to YOU, so that you don’t risk disappointment planning your reception…….
You’ve planned your event for many months to be perfect in every detail. A day filled with hugs, loving glances and softly spoken I do’s”…the unforgettable passion of a first dance with the person of your dreams: family and friends to cheer you on. At Least 6 Months Prior To Your Reception:
Along with our song lists put together a list of your favorite songs and/or artists. Listen to the car radio, go through your, CD collection, or visit our website for a list of the most recently requested selections. Pick as many songs as you like – we play an average of 14 songs per hour.
Our vast database is sorted into the following categories: Love Songs, Country, Alternative/Modern Rock, Rap/Hip Hop, Reggae/Ska, Classic Rock, Disco/Dance, Irish, Italian, Polka, Motown, Latin/Spanish, 50’s/60’s, Dance Orientated Rock, Instrumental, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s, 40’s/Standards, Novelty, Ceremonial, Current Top 40, 80’s – 2000’s Club/House, Urban Contemporary, Blues, Jazz, New Age Jazz, Christian/Gospel, Soul, Funk & R & B., Xmas/Holiday Music.
Send us an e-mail with your requested category and we’ll e-mail you back with a list. I can also provide a complete alphabetical list sorted by song title and artist. Or visit the Top Hits page of our website for our current listings. We cannot guarantee that all selections will be played but the list will give us a good idea of your tastes.
At Least 3 Months Prior To Your Reception:
Start compiling your online bridal information (Link provided when you booked inside your CONFIRMATION email). If you have difficulty completing any information call us at this time to go over any details. Most questions can be answered directly on the telephone.
It is our client’s experience that the weeks prior to the wedding reception are very hectic and stressful!! We do not wish to compound this situation, therefore, contact us EARLY if you feel it necessary to set up an appointment that’s convenient for your schedule.
At Least 1 Month Prior To Your Reception:
We will review all information immediately upon receipt and we will contact you by telephone to go over the pronunciation of your bridal party names, review the order of events and clarify any questions or details that you might have. Your specific DJ will contact you again 7-10 days prior to your event to finalize any details and make any required changes.
The Week Prior To Your Reception:
It is our client’s experience that the days prior to the wedding reception are very stressful. But, if you wish to contact us, please use the contact number (next to the DJ’s name) on the top of your contract or send us an email. We are more than happy to speak with you and discuss any last-minute changes.
Your Day:
Upon your arrival at the reception site we will coordinate and line up your bridal party, coordinate the introductions and announcements with the photographer, videographer and facility manager. You will not have to worry about those details… let the professional do what you’ve paid us to do.
FINALLY….
Relax….try to enjoy your day. Make it a priority to have FUN!!! Spend as much time on the dance floor having fun with your family and guests. It is our experience that everyone is looking to you to set the tone of the event – if you are out dancing – your guests will follow. This is YOUR party – make the most of it!!!!
